CH Entwood Aeoleus CD
a.k.a "Yoli" or just "Yo", was flashy tri that strung together an goodly number of Best of Breeds and and occasional Group placement. Shown by Linda Deustch and Leslie Carroll, he was a "spoiler" here in the Northeast and his appearence in the BOB class was looked upon with great disfavor by a number of Handlers. Yoli finished his CD easily with commendably high scores, always handled by Leslie Carroll. He was never used at stud because we at Entwood had already started to aim our long-term breeding program towards DCs, and Yoli showed absolutely no interest in lure coursing.
CH Entwood Artemis
"Arty" (a.k.a. "Arty-mouse") was late to mature and didn't even start serious showing until she was almost 8. She finished rapidly and we decided to chance a breeding. Bred to her nephew, Entwood Dimitri Donskoi (of Athene's "Great Russians litter), she produced three puppies, one of which we kept (The "Cherry" litter.... q.v.) The purpose of that breeding was the retention and concentration of the genes brought into the line by our foundation bitch, Pickfair's Pandora. Through her, a number of "Old Borzoi" kennels, now only memories, are recalled.
